Pleasure and Jane.

There's nothing plain about Jane - this Sydney jewellery designer, exclusive to BBD, has whipped up some more unique creations! This new pearly collection is full of gorgeous pieces...earrings...necklaces...all made from fresh water pearls and sterling silver.

I'm a sucker for a pearl, and as much as The Stepford Wives was an ok movie (just!) to watch on a Tuesday night, I don't feel I'm ready for a string of pearls over a twin-set at this stage in my life. Rugged up.

There's a downfall in being human. Well, there's probably more than one, but for the purpose of this blog there's one and it's having skin. Unlike our furry friends, we don't grow ourselves any wool to keep us warm in the Winter. And so we collect the fleece from sheep, and alpacas and whip them into a Winter miracle - the throw rug.

We've got you covered (literally and figuratively!) with rugs in a range of colours, textures, and designs. Great gift idea for a Winter wedding, or special birthday. Or just buy one for yourself under guise of 'energy efficiency' ...less $ on heating, more $ on delicious throws!

Silver Service.

Well, it's not quite silver service, but 'pewter' service is equally as glamorous...
mostly because it doesn't need the polishing!

We've always got a good range of pewter products here at BBD. Good for special birthdays, engagements and weddings...or just a treat for your own table!

With sweet little clocks, jugs, salt & peppers, toast racks, oil & vinegar sets, trays, plates and frames, there's plenty of pewter to go around. It's a classic. Can't go wrong.
